About Lily

     I always knew I'd write romance.  If not straight romance, then some form of it.  Simply put, I adore the genre.  Something about the overcoming of all obstacles, the growing and changing together to discover love--it's beautiful.  And inspiring.  I think, in our day and age, we need something to believe in.  And romance gives us hope.  (I was born an incurable dreamer, as you can see!  Some call it naive, I call it optimistic.)

     Erotic romance was a logical next step for me.  I still write mainstream romance, of course, but erotic romance allows for bending the rules, a bit.  The relationship is still the core aspect, but this genre allows for deeper sensuality, as well as sexuality.  Those who know me will tell you that I'm addicted to all things sensual.  And it's clear in my writing, too; I put a lot of focus on how things look, sound, smell, feel...  Okay, I'd best stop before this turns into a ramble about my favorite fragrances :-) 

     Other than writing, I love to travel, sing, cook, and of course, read!  I would never have become a writer if it weren't for my passion for reading.  The written word is a truly amazing thing; books can take you places that you never imagined.  Aside from romance, I love reading about history and learning about what came before us.  I'll admit it--I'm just an all-around inquisitive person.  History, art, architecture, tea ceremonies--my reading interests range far and wide.

     I'm also an avid animal enthusiast and frequently feature pets in my stories.  I am currently owned by a very youthful senior dachshund.
